My Story
I am Michelle and I’ve been offering private piano, voice, and theory lessons in Piedmont since 2005. From day one, students learn important foundational techniques to help them boost their skills and self-esteem. Each one has a unique learning style, and it’s my duty to find out what that is and adapt my lessons accordingly.
Success in learning frequently depends on finding the right music teacher, someone who knows the subject well and understands how to inspire others. My teaching style focuses not only on skills and concepts, but also on helping students problem-solve to work towards being independent learners. Self-exploration and discovering a passion for something new are among the goals emphasized.
The name of the studio was chosen with care. I desire each student to learn how to create beautiful music that is his own and makes a mark on himself and others – a “signature sound.”
